Steve Phillips Obituary
Born in Seneca, South Carolina, he was the son of Steve Robert Phillips, Sr. and Patricia Delores Davis Phillips. Jake worked in construction and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Jake was loved deeply by his family and friends and will be remembered for his kind heart and hard work.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Pat Phillips of Westminster; his daughters, Ahlyssa Phillips Gibson (Zachary) of Westminster and Alexis Phillips of Westminster; his son, Jacob Phillips; a grandson, Zane Gibson; his siblings, Justin Phillips of Westminster and Michelle Phillips Pruitt of Westminster; and his grandmothers, Delores Davis and Vermell Phillips; aunt, Donna Webb; and an uncle, Chris Davis.
Jake is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Davis and L.B. Phillips.
A Funeral Service will be held 4:30 pm, Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
The family is at the residence. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Jakes memory can be made to Ahlyssa Gibson, for Zane Gibson school fund, 434 Pickens Road, Westminster, SC 29693. Condolences may be expressed by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
