Steve Rada

Carroll Stephen (Steve) Rada, 82, of Hampstead, MD passed away on March 5, 2025. Born February 11, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James and Annabelle (Hanna) Rada. Beloved husband of Renee Rada (Harvey).
Steve was a former printer and plant manager at Schneidereith & Sons. He was a past head trustee at Greenmount United Methodist Church. Steve enjoyed getaways to his cabin in West Virginia, where he cherished quality time spent hunting and fishing with his mountain buddies. He enjoyed woodworking in his free time, and was known to always keep himself busy with yardwork or improving his home and helping others.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Anthony "Tony" Rada; daughter, Michelle Webb and husband, Mark; grandaughter, Morgan Kok and husband, Jon; great-granddaughter, Chloe Kok; granddaughter, Madison Webb and fiance, Matt; son, Shawn Rada and wife, Sherri; two grandsons, Tyler and Jacob Rada; step-daughter, Mary De Palma and husband, Joel; step-daughter, Misty Troll and husband, John; two step-granddaughters, Amelia Troll and Lola De Palma; two step-grandsons, Emery Troll and Desmond De Palma; a sister, Sheridan Nimick; and one niece and several nephews.
The family will accept guests for a visitation held Friday, March 14, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main St. Hampstead, MD 21074. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, starting at 11 AM at Greenmount United Methodist Church, 2001 Hanover Pike, Hampstead, MD 21074 with Rev. John Rudolph officiating. Interment will follow in Greenmount U.M.C. Cemetery.
