Steven Noall Streeper, 81, passed away peacefully in his Pocatello, Idaho home on August 18, 2025, one day before his 82nd birthday. He was born on August 19, 1943, in Palo Alto, California, to Noall Robert Streeper of Kaysville, Utah, and Anna Laura Nielsen Streeper of Brigham City, Utah.
Steve was proud of his Danish heritage, as both of his maternal grandparents were born in Denmark. From 1962 to 1965, he faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denmark, where he strengthened his testimony, embraced his roots, and built lifelong connections.
On August 12, 1966, Steve married the love of his life, Patricia Gale Henson, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they shared 59 years of marriage, raising a family and building a life filled with love.
Steve proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War as a combat medic and operating room technician with the 71 Evacuation Hospital of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. His military service further deepened his resilience and quiet strength.
After returning home, Steve continued his higher education, and following in his father's footsteps, in 1974 earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. In 1998, he and Pat bought the Lost River Drug pharmacy and moved to Arco, Idaho, where he worked until he retired in 2014. He loved his customers and was dedicated to serving his community.
Beyond his professional and military service, Steve had a wide variety of passions. He was a licensed HAM radio operator, loved building and flying remote-control airplanes, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. His creativity shone through in woodworking, photography, and even building and playing his own banjos. He had a keen interest in computer programming and could often be found enjoying a good movie, sometimes 2 or 3 a day!
Steve was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived his faith through service, family, and dedication.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gale Henson Streeper; their three children: Steven Eric Streeper (Jennifer), Robert Brent Streeper (Candice), and Alison Streeper Cathey (Cale). He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Dayne Eric Streeper, Peregrin Earl Streeper, Abella Blue Cathey, Cody Steven Streeper, Sonja Gale Streeper, Cohen Grey Cathey, and Ashton John Streeper. He is also survived by sisters Barbara Taylor, Joan Hansen (Randy), and brother Jeff Streeper.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Noall and Anna Streeper, and his sister, Leslie Romriell.
His life was marked by curiosity, craftsmanship, service, laughter and love for his family. His legacy of faith, heritage, and creativity will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 12 noon at the Bringhurst Ward Building, 147 Bringhurst Rd, Chubbuck, ID. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Moore Idaho Stake Center, 3100 N. 3350 W. Moore, ID and also on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church in Chubbuck. Interment will be in the Norton Cemetery in McCammon, ID. Arrangements are under the care of the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Arco, ID.

Steve and I were missionary companions in Denmark many years ago. He was a good missionary and was loved by all the people. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
