My sincere condolences to Mrs. Pollis and family for the loss of Dr. Pollis. I worked for Dr. Pollis, along with Dr. McGuire in the 60's, and witnessed the caring nature and the willingness to teach this young mother how to care for her first child born with challenges. I will forever be grateful and mindful of that time. Rest in peace.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Many good memories of dinners with peanut shells all over the floor in a Florida restaurant.

Dr. Pollis was our family physician in the late 50s-60s. He was a nice man; always very cordial. Our sincere condolences to the family. May the LORD comfort you.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. Dad and he were great friends for years and years. Our families were part of those times and we shared our friendship. God Bless and God's Speed Dr. Steve Pollis.

Mrs. Pollis, Jeannie and the entire Pollis family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have known and loved all of you for so long, the idea of Dr. Pollis being gone has just thrown me for loop this morning. You all were a second family to me growing up and I feel your loss. Having lost my dad a while ago, I can say that God's grace and love will make it easier as time passes. I am praying for all of you during this difficult time. I love you. Paula (and my Mom, Mary Jane)

My sincere sympathy to Mrs. Pollis and family. Dr. Pollis provided care to me as a little boy. He was our family physician to me and my brothers when we were young. My mother was a pediatric RN at St. Joe's for years. She insisted on transporting us across town to see Dr. Pollis. It was her judgment that Dr. Pollis was the best! Later in life as a young prosecutor and later as a judge, Dr. Pollis became a friend to me. He was professional as Deputy Coroner and Coroner. He was a good and kind man in this community and will be missed by all.
