Steven Henry Bennett, 59, died Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at The Elms Center in Milford, NH. He was born on November 19, 1965 in Bellows Falls, Vermont, the son of the late Floyd Bennett and Nancy McCarron.
He was the husband of Christina Bennett. They were married on August 6, 1988 in Salem, NH.
Steven attended Whittier Technical High School in Haverhill, MA. He was employed at TruGreen Chemlawn for 20 years as a landscaper then went on to work at Turf Unlimited as a foreman for 12 years. He has lived in Merrimac, MA, Haverhill, MA, Salem, NH and Hudson, NH throughout his life.
He loved to collect baseball cards, work on his Jeep, cook for his family, and of course keep his lawn pristine. He enjoyed shooting his BB gun in the many acres of woods behind his home in Hudson and taking his Jeep through the trails with his kids.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his Mother in law, Ann Giuffrida, Father in law Concetto Giuffrida, and niece Jessica Giuffrida.
He is survived by his wife Christina Bennett, Daughters, Ashley LeBlanc and Andrea Bennett, Grandchildren, Gianna and Brody, Step Father, Jack McCarron, Sister, Tina Cook, Nieces, Cassandra and Melissa Cook, Melissa and Jennifer Giuffrida, Gina Camasso and Nephew's Michael Cook, Michael Petrosino, Anthony, Michael, Alex and Jared Giuffrida and Brother in-laws Frank, Joel, Anthony and Perry Giuffrida.
Steven was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Steven enjoyed watching all New England sports, especially the Bruins and Red Sox. He even loved taking his girls to the Manchester Monarchs games or Fisher Cats baseball games whenever he could. His favorite of all time was watching Nascar on Sundays while he cooked dinner for his family. He may have been a big adult, but he was a kid at heart with his video games.
He worked very hard everyday to support his family whether it was going to work or doing things around the house. Steven’s sense of humor was like no other. He always made people (especially himself) laugh at his random jokes. During the warmer months he loved driving his Jeep Wrangler with the top off and taking his family out for ice cream. He enjoyed spending time with his wife especially every year on their anniversary, always taking her somewhere special. Steven loved listening to music especially Pink Floyd, Staind, Led Zeppelin, and Ozzy Osborne. He loved spending time with his family and going on family trips up to the mountains. Steven had so many wonderful memories with his loved ones that will live on through them for a lifetime. He will be greatly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution in Steven's name are encouraged to do so to The Safe Project at https://www.safeproject.us/
