Steven Andrew Boyles, a resident of Oregon City, was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident on May 11, 2024. He was 38 years old.
Steven was born on August 1, 1985, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, but was raised in Milwaukie, Oregon. He was a graduate of Oregon City High School.
Steven enlisted in the US Marine Corp in 2008 and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a team leader.
He was employed by Columbia Distributing in Canby, Oregon. He was active with several motorcycle groups and spent many weekends 4-wheeling at Sand Lake. Most importantly, he was a very dedicated father to his son, Ari (age 10) and daughter, Riley (age 14), and spent a lot of time 4-wheeling, fishing and shooting with his son. He was also a great role model to his nieces and nephews.
Steven is survived by his children, Ari and Riley; parents, Dawn & John Boyles of Chula, Missouri; brothers, Sheldon of Chillicothe, Missouri, SJ of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Timothy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Madison Buch of Flippin, Arkansas; grandmother, Candy Glosser of Chula, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Justin Alan and Christopher Allen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in his memory be made to his children, Ari & Riley; an account has been created for each of them. Check's should be made payable to Dawn Boyles with a note in the memo line for Ari and/or Riley and mailed to the funeral home or Mrs. Dawn Boyles, PO Box 64, Chula MO 64635.
