Steven Britton, age 69 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2025. He was born April 22, 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee son of the late Ned and Elizabeth Britton.
In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Britton, Cpl, USMC, who was KIA March 7, 1968 in Vietnam.
Steven was a member of the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA), Miami Valley Chapter 97. An advocate and voice for his brother Bill who left this world too soon. He was a faithful member of First Light Church in Vandalia, Ohio. Steven was employed with Kroger for several years in Huber Heights, Ohio. He enjoyed going into work on his days off, socializing with his coworkers, and having a cup of coffee. Steven will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is survived by his brother, David (Susanne) Britton; nieces, Meghan (Eric) Zeile and Caitlin (Michael) Rybak; great nieces and nephews, Ayrton, Dominic, Zaydee, Paige, Katalina, Georgia, Ezrah, and Trey; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made in Steven's honor and mailed to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Miami Valley Chapter 97, P.O. Box 2707, Dayton OH 45401-2707.
