Steven J. Clarkin, age 35, passed away on March 12, 2026, and went to be with his Heavenly Father. Born on September 6, 1990, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Steven lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and a deep love for family and friends.

Steven began his career at YRC Freight, where he spent many years building strong relationships and a reputation for hard work. He later took over his father's business, L&S Auditing and Services, where he continued to grow and shape the company into his own. Steven took great pride in his work and valued the relationships he built with his clients, always striving to provide the highest level of service.

Outside of his professional life, Steven was known for his passion for the Minnesota Vikings. Whether attending games or cheering from afar, he rarely missed an opportunity to support his team. He enjoyed life to the fullest-whether golfing, attending concerts, sharing a White Claw or two, or being the center of attention during karaoke nights. Above all, Steven cherished time spent with his family and those closest to him. He deeply touched the lives of many through his kindness, generosity, and selflessness.

His legacy of generosity and selflessness will live on through his gift of organ donation, helping multiple recipients and providing others with a second chance at life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Clarkin; his grandparents, Gene Claflin, Ronald Clarkin, and Patricia Clarkin; his uncles, Michael Clarkin and Robert Clarkin; and his cousins, Christopher Watts and Jonathan Gusa.

Steven is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Courtney Miller; his two beloved daughters, Ella Clarkin and Mckenzie Clarkin; his mother, Jayne Clarkin; his brother, Jason Clarkin (Jackie Clarkin); his nephew, Jordan Clarkin; his grandmother, Joanne Claflin; and many family members, friends, and clients who will miss him dearly.

A gathering of remembrance will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Helena Catholic Church, 3204 East 43rd Street, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, with a luncheon to follow.

Steven will be remembered for his vibrant personality, his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his work, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
