Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Mr. Steven Audrey Coleman, age 76, who passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Coleman was a US Navy Veteran obtaining the rank of 1st Class Petty Officer. He was known for his humor and extreme generosity. Mr. Coleman loved woodworking, traveling, his cats, was an avid reader and Parrothead and loved his family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Coleman was a member of the Baxley First Baptist Church.
Mr. Coleman is preceded in death by his parents, A.W. and Margaret Clara Coleman.
Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Coleman; four children, Heather Hale (Stephen), Luke Coleman (Nicole), Jim Coleman (Faith), and Rebecca Carter (Daniel); thirteen grandchildren, Bailie Harvey (Mallory), Darienne Sisu (Sebastian), Elijah Hale (Amber), Bryn Coleman, Jake Carter, Laine Carter, Elisabeth Hale, Mary Grace Bridges, Macy Carter, AngelaMarie Weitz, Ella Rose Rzasa, Gage Graham, Ginny Clark (John); one great granddaughter, Audrey Rogue Harvey; one brother, David Coleman (Jane); and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Redwine officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Nobles Funeral Home Chapel.
Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the family of Mr. Steven Audrey Coleman.

Greetings from an old sailor here in the Philippines. Fond memories of duty with Steve on board USS Belmont (AGTR-4) in Africa back in 1968.
