Steven Ray Dingler

Steven Ray Dingler, 48, lost his lengthy battle with brain cancer Friday, March 5, 2010. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Monday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth with Dr. Al Meredith, Senior Pastor of Wedgwood Baptist Church officiating. Visitation: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday. Memorials: American Cancer Society or a charity of choice. Steven born Oct. 21, 1961, in Fort Worth. He received a BBA degree from Texas Christian University in 1984. During his years at TCU, he was a member of the TCU football team. Following graduation, Steven was involved for many years in coaching youth sports. He was also a member of Wedgwood Baptist church. He will be missed by all his family and friends, including his faithful dog, Remi. Survivors: Children, Braxton and Madeline of Keller; parents, Bill and Maylene Dingler of Fort Worth; sister, Melia and husband, Mike Cook; and nephew, Matthew Cook of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
