Steven Douglas Dreon

Steven Douglas Dreon, age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was born on April 13, 1954, in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Douglas and Joanne Dreon.
After graduating high school Steven was quick to start his career as a lineman. He worked his 30 years and not a moment more before retiring at 49 ½ years young. Steven was able to enjoy his twenty years of retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, building stuff, fixing stuff and grumbling about it. Steven loved playing cribbage and doing overnight trips to the casino. He liked to walk over to the neighbors and visit. Steven was known for always teasing the grandchildren.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother-in-law, Jim King.
Those Steven leaves behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Judy; children, Steven (Kayla) Dreon, Jr., Ashlee Dreon, Nicolas Mudge, Nicole Webb; brother, Doug (Jody) Dreon; sisters, Sherry Dreon, Karen (Dan) Emmans; sisters-in-law, Sandra Tisdale, Pat King; and 10 grandchildren, McKenna, Alexis, Lilly, Shayla, Brayden, Kieran, Cameron, Taylor Jo, Colton, and Chloei; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
A memorial service is being planned for Steven for this summer by his family. Interment will be in the Popple Cemetery in Northome, MN.
