Steven Kenneth Dunn, 68, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Paula Christian Dunn entered into Heaven Sunday, January 8, 2023. His memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends an hour before the service. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
Steven was born June 16, 1954 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of the late Kenneth Cyril Dunn and the late Gertrude Elizabeth Dunn. He worked as a credit manager for International paper reaching Director of Credit over 20 years ago. He was deeply involved with his church in California, Colorado and Kentucky. He loved working on cars including his 1959 Jaguar. He enjoyed being on the water, fishing and boating. He grew up with a love for Disneyland, with his first trip being in 1957. He turned his whole family into Disney lovers, especially his daughter, Alaina. He will be remembered as a spiritual man who loved God, and for the way he loved his family. He was a friend to everyone who met him.
He is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Paula; and children, Alaina Dunn of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Christopher Dunn (Crystal) of Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Jean Dunn.
