Steven L. Enyart
Died October 30, 2025
SUTTONS BAY TWP - Steven Lynn Enyart, 58, of Suttons Bay Township, passed away at his home on October 30th from a heart condition.
Steven was born in Oakland, California on December 10th, 1966, the son of Lynn and Nancy (Craker) Enyart. He grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from South Eugene High School. He then entered the University of Oregon where he received his bachelor's degree in history.
He worked for the City of Eugene for several years before moving to the Portland area and becoming a police officer.
Steven moved to Michigan in September 2013 and settled in Suttons Bay Township. His parents had returned to this area in 2001. Steve and his father enjoyed working together and spent the next few years restoring homes in the area.
Steven always had a great interest in the history of our country including the Civil War Era. Over the years he amassed a wonderful collection of memorabilia.
Steven is survived by his parents, his brother John and his wife Lisa of Tualatin, Oregon, his two nieces, Alexa Enyart of Los Altos, California, and Nicole Iversen and her husband Anders of Ventura, California, his Aunt Deb and Uncle Ed Gillies of Suttons Bay, his Aunt Janet and Uncle Nils Anderson of Camp Verde, Arizona, and his Aunt Anita Craker of Cumming, Georgia, and many cousins.
Steve was kind, considerate, and respectful to everyone he met, and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed by his parents and all who knew him.
The celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 13th at the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay with the family welcoming friends at 1 p.m.
