STEVEN FISHER Obituary

FISHER--Steven. Steven Fisher, beloved father and husband, passed away at the age of 63 on Monday, May 1st, due to complications from a recent medical procedure. Steven served as senior partner at Fisher Brothers, his family's fourth-generation real estate firm based in New York, and as Founder and Chairman of Fisher Capital Investments, the venture capital arm of Fisher Brothers. Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Steven dedicated more than four decades to the family business, focusing primarily on construction and development. He previously served as chairman and CEO of the Fisher Brothers subsidiary Plaza Construction Corporation. Under his decade-long leadership, Steven transformed Plaza Construction into one of New York's largest and most respected construction firms. Mr. Fisher was not only a respected leader in the real estate industry but also an active philanthropist. He was a Trustee of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, a member of the New York State Trooper's Foundation, a Board Member of the Police Athletic League, a member of the Founder's Circle of the New York City Police Museum, a member of the Board of Managers for UrbanAmerica's Urban II partnership with Fisher Brothers, and, most notably, Steven founded the Michael Tyler Fisher Center for Education, in honor of his late son. Steven is survived by his wife Danina, his children Kyle (Gabriella), Jamie Rose (Erik), Natalia, Juliet and Jaclyn along with his mother Lynda (Jack), brother Kenneth (Tammy), sister Karen (Thomas) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Michael. He will be remembered for his dedication to his profession, his deep commitment to philanthropic causes and his love for his family. Services will be held at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel, located at 1076 Madison Avenue, on Thursday, May 4th at 11:30am. Donations to honor Steven Fisher's memory may be made to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex.

My sincere condolences to the entire Fisher Brothers Management Co. and family, Steven was the epitome of kindness a heart of gold, he will be missed dearly, you always knew when Steven was at 299 Park due to his distinguished cologne he wore, you did not have to see him, his cologne was a dead giveaway he was in the building somewhere, he would always ask you, how are you? are you doing okay? how is your family anytime you saw him, that was the person he was caring.
My Prayers of comfort to the entire Fisher family at this time of sorrow!

I was shocked to hear about
Mr. Steven Fisher´s passing.
As a chauffeur I had the honor of driving Mr. Fisher for about six months in 2004, I´ve got to know him close, he was very good to me and he had a heart of gold, he never treated me like a driver I will never forget his generosity.
My deepest sympathies are with the Fisher family.
Please know that I am praying for your peace and comfort during this difficult time.
