Steven E. Gerardi, fondly known as Steve, passed away at the age of 59 in his home in Ashton, Maryland. He fought a valiant battle against a long illness stemming from a traumatic brain injury sustained after a fall in 2020.
Born to Everett Joseph Gerardi and Jacqueline Gerardi, Steve is survived by his loving wife, Martina Rajnohova Gerardi, with whom he shared 15 years of cherished memories and his beloved daughter, Sylvie, who was a constant source of joy and inspiration in his life.
Steve had a passion for motorcycles and was an avid rider of Harley Davidson motorcycles. He found solace and freedom on the open road, embracing the thrill of the ride with every journey. His enthusiasm for motorcycles was infectious, and he shared many adventures with friends and fellow enthusiasts.
Music was Steve's heartbeat, the rhythm that infused his days with energy and vitality. From the soulful melodies of jazz to the pulsating beats of rock 'n' roll, he found solace and inspiration in every note.
Steve's memory is cherished dearly not only by Martina and Sylvie but also by his devoted mother, Jacqueline, his sister, Chris Babilonia, and his niece and nephew, Claire and Andrew. Steve was predeceased by his father Everett Joseph Gerardi, whom he held dear in his heart.
In honoring Steve's memory, let us cherish the moments we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the music that will forever echo in our hearts. Though he may no longer dance among us, his spirit lives on in the melodies of our memories, guiding us with every beat.
A memorial service will be held on May 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at Oakdale Church, 3425 Emory Church Road, Olney, Maryland. Lunch to celebrate the life of Steve to follow the service. In lieu of flowers the family could use financial support. Please consider supporting them through: Steven Gerardi's Memorial Website.
