Steven N. Gountis, Jr., 54, of Easton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
Born on December 9, 1967, he was a son of the late Kathy (Cowin) and Steven N. Gountis, Sr. He graduated from Bayonne High School, in 1986. He was employed as a bowling mechanic at Jordan Lanes in Allentown and Bath Legion Bowling Club.
Steven was a regular attender of Cornerstone Evangelical Church. He was mechanically gifted and could fix anything. He was always willing to share his gift by helping anyone he could. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. He liked watching old movies from the 80's and 90's.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Christina (Maintanis) Gountis; sons, Matthew Gountis, of Easton; Andrew Gountis, of Easton; daughter, Brianna Gountis, of Newark, DE; brother, Brian D. Gountis, of Easton.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the CornerStone Evangelical Church, 411 March Street, Easton, PA 18042. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM in the church. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Township.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
