Steven Grimes Obituary

Steven Glen Grimes, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at V.A. Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Steve was born December 2, 1944, in Columbus, IN, the son of Harold and Gwenith Grimes.
He served in the Air Force and worked as a professional truck driver for over 20 years and for St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; two former wives, Janice Grimes and Linda Grimes and granddaughter, Laura.
Steve is survived by his 4 children: Donna Autrey (Chris Wichman) of Neenah, Wisconsin, Bobbie Skimehorn of Sturgis, KY, Susan Adams, of Madisonville, KY, Steven R. Grimes of Madisonville, KY, and Stepson – Brian Jones, Sr. of New Salisbury, IN. Grandson, Brian Jones Jr. with which he lived, 8 additional grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Sister – Connie Jo Brockman (Jackie) of Franklin, IN, and first wife, Doris McVay.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will precede the service from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Lanesville Cemetery, Lanesville, IN. Memorial Donations may be made to the Air Force Aid Society at afas.org.
