Steven Lynn Heard

Steven Lynn Heard Born July 2, 1961 Died January 31, 2021 Steve was born in Dallas, TX and grew up in Mesquite, TX. He was a 1979 graduate of North Mesquite High School. After graduating Steve continued working for his father in the family Air Conditioning Business where he worked his whole life. Later in life Steve decided to also get his real estate license. He shared many interests with his father and grandfather including NASCAR, the love for Mustangs and sports cars and learning every aspect of car mechanics by age 10. Steve and his dad built his first car which was a 1969 Mustang with a 427 engine on the kitchen table. He was so proud. He had a dream come true when he was able to drive a stock car on the track at Texas Motor Speedway. He also had another a dream come true when he went sky diving for his 50th birthday. Besides his love for fast cars, Steve's other passion was his love for country music, singing and playing the guitar. His all time favorite country music singers were Elvis Presley and George Strait He loved singing and playing the guitar for his family, friends and at small venues. Steve also had a passion for sports football and basketball. He attended the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day games for many years. He also attended many Mavericks games in his later years. He also liked to travel in his later years to many beautiful places around the world. His greatest joy was watching his daughters grow up playing softball, basketball, drill team and cheerleading, his grandsons playing baseball, basketball and football. His stepson playing paintball. He was a loving Son, Brother, Father, Grandfather and Stepfather.. Steve is survived by his Fiancé Krissy Mireles, Mother Patricia Kindle, Daughters Ashley Heard and Heather Heard, Stepson Kaleb Baisley and former wife Cyndi Heard, Grandsons Braydn Terry and Caine Cenkus, Sister Kim Ondracek and husband Mike, Stepsister Karen Martin and husband Brad, Stepbrother Keith Kindle and wife Julie. He is preceded in death by his Father Chester Heard and stepmother Nelda, Stepfather Freeman Kindle, Paternal grandparents R L and Irene Heard, Maternal grandparents Ona Mae and C R Stanley.
