Steven Lynn Holcomb, a beloved father, brother, who passed away on December 22, 2025, at Caromont Regional Hospital in Gastonia. Born on November 20, 1963, in Charlotte, NC, Steven lived a life marked by his dedication to family, service, and his numerous passions.

As a talented handyman with a strong mechanical inclination, Steven applied his skills to address the needs of those around him. His creativity and resourcefulness were evident in every project he undertook, earning him the respect and admiration of friends and family alike. In addition to his work as a handyman, Steven proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, embodying the spirit of service and commitment.

Steven cherished the simple joys of life, with a profound love for all kinds of fishing. He often spent long days by the water, finding solace and relaxation as he pursued his favorite pastime. Alongside fishing, he enjoyed throwing darts, a sport that brought him together with friends and family in friendly competition. His fondness for beach trips added to his treasure of lasting memories, where laughter and connection with loved ones flourished.

Steven is survived by his wife, Veronica Franco, and his three cherished daughters, Arianna Lee Holcomb, April Lynn Setzer, and Amber Lynn Holcomb, and a granddaughter, Peyton. He is also survived by his sister, Dana Young (Scott), and his brother, Marc Tarpley Holcomb (Miriam), as well as a great love and fondness for all his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Tarpley Holcomb and Diane Bentley Holcomb, whose memories will forever live on through their son and his legacy of love.

As we remember Steven Lynn Holcomb, we celebrate his life filled with passion, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
