Steven Hummer Obituary

VANCOUVER – it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother
Steven E. Hummer, 67, of Vancouver, Washington. Steve passed away peacefully on
December 24, 2024. He was born October 7, 1957, in Rochester, NY, son of Dale Eugene
Hummer and Rita (Reece) Hummer.
Steve was raised in the Pittsburgh area, graduated from Churchill High School, spending his
later years in Vancouver Washington. Steve loved his computers and movies. He was a kind
and loving brother and a good friend. Steve will be deeply missed by his family and so many
who knew him and helped him along the way.
He is survived by his sister Lauren (Dennis) Braunston and brother Russell (Becky) Hummer as
well as his nieces Tori Branston and Kristy Kendall.
A private interment will be held at the Saint John's United Methodist Church Cemetery in
Grantville, PA on February 5, 2025. A celebration of Steve's life will be held at a later date.
Those who wish to remember Steve may make gifts in his memory to the Parkinson's
Foundation (www.parkinson.org)
