"Our beautiful mama passed away peacefully yesterday morning (joining her mama and dad and little sister) at the age of 66 after her year long battle with cancer and her (beautiful) heart.
She smiled, laughed, and loved and was overfilled in all of those things this last year through old friends, new friends, nephews, nieces, cousins, second cousins "sisters", "brothers", her daughter, her son, bonus daughters, and bonus son, seven Grandchildren, one great grandchild and her first and forever true love
Her village was big: From the West Coast all the way to the East Coast Her village was big and it was mighty.
She loved everyone she encountered and once she loved you, it was sealed. We know, from how she talked about each of you (because we all know she could talk, and talk and talk), that everyone loved her immensely right back.
Thank you for giving our mom the stories to tell and for giving our mom the smiles she had when talking about each of you. You gave her a lifes worth of reasons to smile because that's who she was. A woman fulfilled by the love she received from others. She was always just so grateful and overwhelmed by the love you all gave her. She gave it, but got it back so much more.
Thank you to those who have reached out and for your stories and love that you are surrounding our family with at this time.
