Steven Jerad Klingen

We have cried a thousand tears and will cry a million more for our hearts mourn the devastating loss of our son who left us far too soon. Jerad was 39 years old when he passed away on September 19, 2023.

Jerad was born in Garland, Texas in 1984. His early years were spent in California and Vancouver WA but he moved to Texas in his late teens. He called Texas his home.

Jerad was smart and witty excelling in Computer Programming and Technology. He had a curiosity from a young age that drove him to explore and learn all that he could about a vast array of topics. 

He had a huge heart helping friends along the way and could light up a room with his handsome face, engaging presence and fun loving personality. Though, sadly that was not the case in his later years. Jerad died after a long battle with mental health issues and addiction.  

Jerad leaves behind his loving parents Jan and Alex Klingen, his daughter Emily Klingen and sister Shannon Klingen, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins who all mourn his loss. 

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Emily Klingen’s College Fund.
