I had the honor and privilege of working for Steve for seventeen years with Klooster Greenhouse and Banner Greenhouse. Steve was a very strong and dedicated Christian man. He truly loved God and his son Jesus. He cared deeply for the people who worked with him and he spent much of his time reaching out to prisoners through his church. He was much more than a boss, he was a great friend. I was able to speak daily with Steve about family, current events and religion. The world has lost a great man and heaven has received a real treasure. He has left numerous memories for everyone who knew him. My deepest sympathies go out to Nancy, Jason, Lindsey, Nate and Katie and their spouses along with Mel, Elaine, Don and Mike.

Our heart aches at the unexpected loss of this wonderful man and friend. But we are grateful that he had such a quick peaceful passing after enduring so many years of pain. But what a beautiful week to join our Heavenly Father and experience the celebration of Easter in Heaven.
Our prayers are with you, Nancy, and your beautiful family. We love you and are here for you.
As far as a favorite memory of Steve-it would have to be all of our vacations together at Birch Shores and Steve's infamous swan dive from the side of his boat to rescue a damsel in distress! We love you and miss you, Steve.
