It is with heavy hearts and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of Steven Richard Krammer, who left us on December 15, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on September 17, 1954, in
St. Paul, Minnesota, Steven built a life filled with love, dedication, and playfulness. In the words of Albert Einstein, "Play is the highest form of research," and Steven truly embodied this sentiment, as he was a lifelong explorer of life's many joys and challenges.
After graduating high school Steven joined the Air Force and found himself stationed at Hill AFB in Utah. In 1974 he met a single mother with two boys and two years later married his best friend Kathy. Steven and Kathy never had children of their own and Steven made it a priority of his to adopt and love Michael and Jeremy as if they were his own. After Raising the family in Clinton, Steven moved to
Roy, Utah, where he spent 33 wonderful years, establishing himself as a cherished member of the community. Steven was a dedicated Program Manager at HAFB, where he worked diligently for many years before his retirement in 2010. He was a hard worker, often holding two jobs to support his family, a testament to his unwavering commitment and love for his loved ones.
But Steven was not all work and no play. He found immense joy in maintaining his yard, a pursuit that he took great pride in. His love for gaming was also well known. Starting with the original Atari, Steven owned every gaming system that came out, using it as an outlet for relaxation and enjoyment. As Fred Rogers said, "Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning," and Steven, with his youthful spirit, was always learning, always playing. He is survived by his son, Michael Krammer (Kristine), his Grandchildren Casey, (Laice) Brandi (Shaun), Kylee (Jason), Steven (Dakota), Breesha, Tracey, Great Grandchildren Liam, Wyatt, Lyriq, Avery and Emory. Steven was preceded in death by his dear wife Kathy, his son Jeremy Krammer, ,his father, Richard Krammer, and his mother, Carrol Krammer.
Remembering Steven, we encourage everyone to share their memories and upload photos to the memorial page. These shared moments will help keep his memory alive and give us all a chance to celebrate a life well-lived.
