He was born on August 14, 1964, in Dexter, Maine, a son of the late James and Barbara (Wilson) MacDonald. He grew up in Corinna and Newport, graduated from Nokomis High School with the class of 1982, and had worked for over 25 years for the Crane Brothers Farm in Exeter.
Steve was the wild child of the family. He was quite that character who enjoyed snowmobiling and 4 wheeling. He was a private guy that loved his family and was always available if you needed help.
He is survived by his son, Joshua MacDonald and wife Chelsea; two grandchildren, Lukas and Lily; brother, James "Michael" MacDonald and wife Lonna; sister, Teresa Deering; nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; and brother-in-law, Alan Deering.
A private family committal will take place.
