Steve was born on August 22, 1959 in Greenville, South Carolina. He attended Greenville Technical College, where he earned his degree in Network Engineering. Although he excelled in the field, Steve later found his true passion in locksmithing. He enjoyed working with his hands and always embraced anything that challenged his abilities.
Steve loved spending peaceful days fishing and cherished the companionship of his beloved dogs, Luna and Stryker. He especially enjoyed time on the water with his close friend and fishing buddy, Bryan. He was a devoted father to his children-Ryan, Ashley, Kyle (Em), and Josh (Becca)-and a loving husband to his wife, Norma. Steve had a generous spirit and was always willing to help anyone, in any way he could.
He shared many meaningful friendships throughout his life, especially with his best friends, Ted and David. Their time together brought him joy, laughter, and countless memories.
Steve will be remembered for his warm heart, steady presence, and the kindness he offered so freely. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 3:30 PM at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory.
