HOLYOKE: Steven J. "Earz" McAndrews, 49, of Holyoke, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Holyoke, son of Constance "Connie" (Beliveau) McAndrews of Holyoke and the late William M. McAndrews, and was a graduate of Holyoke Trade School. Steve was a longtime self-employed floor installer, an avid fan of all Boston sports teams, and a former member of Holyoke Elks # 902. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela A. (Uggiano) McAndrews, three sons: Justin S. McAndrews, Corey Scott McAndrews and his girlfriend Laura, and Austin McAndrews, all of Holyoke, two daughters: Rashel Haniffy and Megan Cirelli and her husband Tom of Holyoke, two grandchildren: Jagger and Benny, a sister, Mary Ann Doherty and her husband Tony of Holyoke, four brothers: William E. of Germany, Edward M. and his wife Ann Marie of Longmeadow, Robert A. and his wife Jen of Holyoke, and George P. of Holyoke, his in-laws Joseph and Shirley Uggiano, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Steven was predeceased by a son Michael McAndrews. The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Wednesday June 4th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assn., 393 Maple Street, Springfield MA 01105.
