Steven T. McDonald

Steven T. McDonald, age 60, of Ramona, SD, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at his home. Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Ellsworth Funeral Home in Madison. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, at the Funeral Home. He was born January 6, 1965, at Mitchell, SD, to Richard and Rose (Shaheen) McDonald. He graduated from Brookings High School and attended SDSU. He was active in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Life. He served in the South Dakota National Guard. He was proud of his 50th year of following his dad's occupation of floor covering installation. He was an avid skydiver, and he collected model cars and airplanes. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 niece and two nephews, Jessica, Michael and James Spomer.
Survivors include his daughter, Pheobe McDonald of Sioux Falls, SD, his daughter Kayla McDonald of Mitchell and his son Drew McDonald of Rapid City, SD; two grandchildren and 3 sisters, Sandra (Arlin) Evenson of Omaha, NE, Kari (Jon) Spomer of Bismarck, ND, Kathy (Jeff) Johnson of Spearfish, SD; and several nieces and nephews.
