Steven Michael Mills, Sr. AKA Baby Mills, 67, of Amigo, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at his residence.
Born February 26, 1957 at Mullens, he was the son of the late James Edward Mills, Sr. and Hester Marie (McKinney) Mills.
Steven was a former employee for the WV Department of Highways. In his leisure he enjoyed billiards, trading, being around family and friends, volunteering time at the salvage yard in Basin, and was a jack of all trades.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Mills; sister-in-law, Lynn Mills; and two nieces, Amy Mills and Tonya Ann Mills.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Melina (Short) Mills; two sons, Joseph Mills and Steven Mills, Jr.(Joanna); grandchildren, Aiden Woodrum, Braelynn Mills, Brody Mills, and Mason Mills; one brother, Eddie Mills; nieces, Kimberly Graham and Amanda Mills; nephews, Jonathan Mills and Matthew Rhodes; sister-in-law, Susie Mills; and his fur baby, Navy.
Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Goode-Clay Cemetery, Cabin Creek with Pastor Charles A. McKinney officiating.
For those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
