He will be remembered for his for his attitude, willingness to learn, teach, provide and volunteer. Steve was by trade a machinist and tool and die maker. He was a loyal employee for Maxwell House Coffee plant on Harrisburg in Houston, Texas, for 28 years, spending 27 of those years as a Maintenance Supervisor. Steve was a role model and example for others. He was never afraid to attack a project. If they did not make it, he made it. If he did not know how, he learned. If you did not know how, he taught you. If no one had ever done it, he did it. He will always be remembered as Boss by his "D" crew, Mike, Bobby, Big John and Stanley. During his tenure at Maxwell House, he led many volunteer projects. He always loved to share his knowledge with others and help those less fortunate. He was involved in one of the early Apollo projects with NASA for which he received medals, plaques and bragging rights. As a machinist he built critical components of the vehicle frame.
