Steven John Panzella Jr., 18, of
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and boundless energy that touched everyone who knew him.
Born on March 19, 2007, in New York, NY, to Steven Panzella Sr. and Jillian Diaz-Panzella, Steven brought light and laughter into the world from his very first day. He graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School on May 29, 2025, with dreams of pursuing higher education in the fall. A talented varsity tennis player, Steven's competitive spirit shone on the court, where he forged lasting friendships. His passions extended beyond athletics-he loved the thrill of snowboarding, fast cars, and the serenity of the beach, where he often spent carefree days with friends. Above all, Steven cherished his family, whose love and pride for him knew no bounds. His infectious smile, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty made him a shining light in the lives of all who knew him.
Steven was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Patrick Panzella. He is survived by his devoted parents, Steven and Jillian Panzella; his beloved sister, Bianca Panzella; his maternal grandparents, Orlando and Lurdes Diaz; his paternal grandmother, Marie Louise Panzella; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Through his selfless act of organ donation, Steven's compassionate spirit continues to shine, offering hope and life to others. His radiant joy, boundless love, and infectious enthusiasm will forever inspire and live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Baird-Case Jordan-Fannin Funeral Home, 4343 N Federal Hwy,
