Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather Steven Parker passed away peacefully on September 19th 2022.
Steven was born in San Jose CA on June 30th 1946, to Garbert and Janet (Apppleby) Parker. He was raised in San Jose, where he graduated from Camden High School in 1964. In 1966 Steve enlisted in the Army and proudly served the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne during the Viet Nam War, He became a Purple Heart Recipient after being wounded during the Tet Offensive of 1968.
On 1982 he moved to Visalia, where he continued his career as a metal fabricator and later retired as General Foreman for Strategic Mechanical in Fresno, CA in 2010.
Throughout his life, he was a true American outdoorsman. He was a skilled hiker, hunter, gun enthusiast, and recreational pilot. Steve loved being out in nature, especially in the High Sierras of California. Steven was a man of many talents, trades, and hobbies, always willing to complete projects to help a friend.
We will remember him at his happiest spending time with his family and friends.
Steven is survived by his loving wife, June of 41 years; son Joe Parker (Eun Hae), daughter Anna Lewis (Elliott) Sharon Joseph (Jeff), Shannon Siegenthaler (Jackie); grandchildren Kendra Lewis, Broxton Lewis, Parker Lewis, Niko Lewis, Ian Joseph, Everett Joseph, Ellis Joseph, Goldie Siegenthaler, Geri Siegenthaler; sisters, Julie Holtz (Andy), Kathy Smith and many nieces and newphews. He was preceded in death by his brother Tim (Debbie).
