Steven D. Perry, age 55 years, of the Beulah Heights Community died Monday, October 9, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 17, 1968 the son of Loyd Dawson Perry and Rema Joyce (Lynch) Perry. Steven had worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Beulah Heights Bible Missionary Church. Fishing and camping at the Wolf Creek Dam, woodworking and sewing was his favorite hobbies.
His father; 2 infant grandchildren; grandparents; Charlie and Laura Perry and Ruthel and Maggie Lynch; mother of his children, Jennifer Bryant; and a great nephew, Coleman Cecil Ridener precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Gayla (Vanover) Perry of Whitley City, Kentucky; mother, Rema Perry of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sons, Robert Lane Perry (Courtney) of Stearns, Kentucky and Matthew Perry of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; daughters, Allie Perry of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Abby Perry of Whitley City, Kentucky; brother, Kevin Perry (Cynthia) of Whitley City, Kentucky; sisters, Sheila Frederick (Jon) of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Stephanie Perry (Ruben) of Whitley City, Kentucky; stepchildren, Arron Vanover and Robyn Brown; and bonus children, Dakota Vanover, Devin Bowling, Desirae Brunck, Dewayne Lewis, Dewinna Lewis, and Deja Lewis.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Beulah Heights Bible Missionary Church with Bro. Ivy Campbell, Bro. Jack Howard, and Bro. Mark Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Church.
