Steven James Pettengill 59, of Denver, Colorado, passed away surrounded by family on December 4, 2023, in Evans, Colorado. He was born on January 5, 1964 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Roy and Carol (Stansbury) Pettengill.
Steven started his career in electronics at Neumann Electronics Inc. Graduated and received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Steven worked in sales, out in the field and in the warehouse. As a professional Steven knew how to captivated people around him, by his loving smile, laugh, and his sense of humor.
Steven had two childhood friend's Brad Brookman and Scott Newmann. They become close, like brothers up until his passing. Laurie expressed, when all three of the guys would get together all you would do is laugh, and make others laugh around them. They were very welcoming and just a great group of guys.
Steven enjoyed his career and along the way he work with Mark Neumann treated him like a son. Then had the opportunity to work with his brother Stan at The Goodtime Towne Tavern and develop a lot of friendships along the way.
Steven's favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing. He loved to go on camping trips with family and friends.
Steven is survived by his two loving children, Bradford McKillip, and Brandy Pettengill. Sisters, Laurie Behring-Howard and husband Shane Howard, and Cindy Richardson and husband Jim Richardson. Brothers; Scott Newmann, and Brad Bookman, and long loving excited family
He is preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sibling's.
A Celebration of Life will be held in a private ceremony in January 14. 2024.
