Steven A. Procaskey
Age 66 of Channahon, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021 at home with loved ones present.
Born September 21, 1954 in Louisiana, Steven was the son of Ella May and Herman Procaskey. Dedicated employee with Caterpillar for 35 years. He had a talent and passion for automotive body work, loved his Harley and had an impeccable work ethic. Steven was dependable and always had an easy going attitude, a great sense of humor and an appreciation for a friendly smile. An all around family man with a beautiful soul. Steve had many people that cared for him and was definitely one-of-a-kind with an irreplaceable personality.
Survived by his daughter, Devan Procaskey and son, Jacob Procaskey; long time fiancé: Mary Ann Holland and her daughter: Trichelle; the mother of Steven's children: Judy Tucker; grandchildren: Nicholas, Kailey, William, Christian, Logan, Kennedy and Joshua, and sister: Jackie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents: Ella May and Herman, and sisters: Jerry and Jamie.
Per Steven's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Steven's home, 25544 W. Bridge Street, Channahon, IL 60410 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
