To my family and friends, if you're reading this, I am cruising on my Harley Road Glide along the coast, wind in my face with the throttle open and the pipes humming loud as can be.
I've been blessed with a wonderful life, the best family and friends one can ask for. My memories at Edgewood High School and classmates from the class of 1976, bring a smile to me, playing Football, Basketball, Baseball and running track. I loved the time spend with my sons, coaching their sports, T-Ball, baseball, and being there with them during their Boy Scout years. I also had a blast starting the North Kingsville Flag Football league in the late 70's, even if it didn't last long! I want to say thank you to my colleagues and customers at Weber Electric, I retired after 21 years and was fortunate to never to have worked a day in my life because of you. I was passionate about riding my Harley, met a lot of wonderful people on many bike rides and had some of the greatest times with you all.
To my family I leave behind, don't weep for me, I am happy, smiling and healthy again. To my sons, Derek and Dustin, I love you; and to my grandchildren, Harley "Peanut" and Max, I cherished the time we spent together; to the love of my life, Dawn Franklin, thank you for being by my side and sharing new memories with me; to my siblings, I appreciate the memories we shared and the love you gave me, Sharon (Chuck) Dewey, Sheila (Ed) Dansereau, Dennis (Connie) Rhodes, and Janet (Mark) Falke; and to my "brother," Sid Mitchell and my bestest of friends, Donnie Cosner and Dan Hennigan, thanks for all the laughs, we had a blast together!
I look forward to seeing my parents, Gordon "Dusty" and Lenna M. (nee: Hawn) Rhodes again; as well as my grandparents, Claude and May Hawn and Roland and Eleanor Rhodes; and all those gone on before me, what a reunion it will be!
Love,
Steven R. Rhodes

Dustin and family... I'm still in shock. Your dad and I go had so many good times at the Iroquois playing pool telling jokes and mostly being in the fantasy football leagues. He was a good friend who was always willing to give you the shirt off his back. He was that kind of guy. I remember he came all the way from Ashtabula to Youngstown to be a part of my show at Packard music hall. It really meant a lot to me. There's a big void in a lot of people's hearts. God bless you all...Richard Rose
