Steven Russell Roller, of Indianapolis, Indiana, born on May 31, 1950 in Beech Grove, Indiana, to the late Shirley A Hentrup and the late Warren L Roller, passed away at age 68 on February 23, 2019 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He graduated from North Central High School in 1968. Steven served in the Army Reserve from 1966 to 1972 and he also worked in the Construction industry as a truck driver at Construction Materials until he retired in 2012. Steven was the loving husband of Joyce Roller. He is survived by his son, Mark Roller; daughter, Amy Roller; sister, Rebecca Seidel; and grandchildren, Laci Penton, Kalen Penton, and Emma Roller. He also leaves behind his dogs, Tessa and Asha. Steven had a passion for muscle cars/motorcycles and racing. Friends and family can pay their respects at the celebration of life on Saturday, March 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at All Faiths Cremations, 4901 S ORANGE AVE, Orlando, Florida, 32806.

I met Steve when I was just 4 years old. My earliest memories of him are coming to our house to pick up my sister Joyce for a date. Throughout the years Steve always teased me about how I would beg to go with them and he would imitate my wining voice saying "Jo-Weese" which was how I pronounced Joyce's name at a young age lol. Steve was a fun brother-in-law and I will always remember his sense of humor and contagious smile.

For dear friends, Steve & Joyce Roller & family. Our hearts are sad in loosing Steve. I am so thankful you both came to visit me in Arizona this past Sept. 2018. Joyce, Im sure I told you about the conversation Steve & I had...about his love for you. He shared with me some of the difficult times of injuries & how you gave him such great love & care. He said I really got an Angel when I married Joyce . I shall always remember your visit. We have been friends but apart for 36 years..& you both were so much the same as I remembered from our working days together. What a joyous visit! I will always remember the three of us on our tour of The Biosphere....they gave him a wheelchair because it was a lenghty walking tour. You were a SuperWoman pushing him in that chair so he could enjoy it to the fullest! It was my pleasure to see you both & how strong you both were in your family ties. That is a true Blessing. From the day I met Steve 3 1/2 years ago He was calling me his daughter in law. Mark was not happy with this. And on the very day he passed away I did become his daughter in law. I love you SO much dad. We miss you already. Go ride my horses for me until I can see you again in heaven. Love you Tamara Roller.
