So sorry to hear about Doc! He was my doctor and my friend for the longest time until I moved to Texas. My parents both went to him also. I always used to tell him that he deserved sainthood for being able to put up with my mother. Prayers for the family.

Doc was not only my doctor he was my friend. Over the years he cared for me brought me through 2 cancer scares. He guided me to all the right doctors to handle the issues and he never stopped watching over me until he knew I was cured. He was the best, the most caring and the most loving person I know. He lived for the caring of his patients.
I have missed him as my doctor since he had to retire and will always miss him as my friend

The world has lost a great man. I have been blessed by knowing Steven Rubin as a doctor first ... which then developed into a loving friendship. Thank you Steve for always caring and taking care of Ed and I. We have said it many, many a time, there is no doctor like Dr. Rubin.. he spoiled us forever. Not enough words to say how deeply you will be missed Steve.. rest in peace and know your time on this earth healed so many. Our love and sympathy to those you love the most .. Roni, Simone, and Whitney and your precious grand babies Austen and Jack.
Until we meet again...

All medical school graduates earn the title of "Doctor"...hopefully producing 4-5 "physicians" out of each class. Steven, was such a physician...true to his profession,,, and also to his precious family. He will be remembered most dearly by me and my family.

Steve was a mentor and a friend. Eventhough my heart was in Emergency Medicine, he took me under his wing, taught me medicine and a great deal about life as well. As a student and a resident, I was always welcomed at the medical society dinners. His text messages were legendary and always brought a smile. My condolences and prayers to his family.
