Steven Leon Sain was born on December 29th. 1977 in Chicago, Illinois to the parents of Father Leon Sain and Mother Peggy Ruth Shields from Middleton TN.
Steven graduates from Northwest High School of Indianapolis, IN in 1996. Which shortly after, he continued his studies for "the arts" at the Indianapolis Art Institute of Graphic Design. "Weeky" as we all called him, later turned his focus towards Culinary Arts.Due to his love and passion for cooking, he loved to prepare and show off his artistic knowledge and skills of preparing a dish for his family as well as staff.
Steven enjoyed most helping and encouraging others to rise above any situation that life would throw at them. He would always tell us, and I quote, "Reach for the stars. And if you fall, land on a mountain". Glory be to God. To "The Gentle Giant", we love you.
Steven leaves behind Mother Peggy Ruth Shields, Brothers, Undrae N. Sain, Derrick D. Sain, and Almonzo Sain, sister Victoria Sain, and a host of family, friends, and special niece Assata R. Bowens.
