Steve was born on November 7th, 1960, and passed away at the age of 64 on June 26, 2025. He passed on his own terms, at his home in White Creek immediately following several recent stints in the hospital.
Steve worked at Generac, Cooper Power Systems and Minco- as well as working many odd jobs for family, friends and neighbors over the years. He was an extraordinarily hard worker and always kept himself busy. He had a knack for fixing anything with a motor and wheels. In the end, his fleet of cars, trucks and scooters kept him busy-and kept him mobile. Steve enjoyed anything that went “bang” or went really fast- safety was usually not a priority.
For his whole adult life Steve loved all things racing. And he often lived his life as though he was trying to beat the rest of us to the finish line. Enjoying his sweet treats by the jar, and salty meats and cheeses to excess. And he loved to share these treats with his countless trusty weiner dogs over the years. Bambi, Mindy and all the rest were there waiting for him at the pearly gates, probably nestled in Bob and Dorothy’s laps.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Schultz and his older brother Dennis. He is survived by his brother Pat and sister Sheri Haines and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held for Steven on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Appetizers will be served after the service followed by a burial at Delafield City Cemetery.
