STEVEN E. SENKARIK, 85, of Cranford, NJ, peacefully passed away in his sleep on the morning of December 24, 2018. He was born in Bernardsville, NJ to the late Katherine and Stephen Senkarik on August 7, 1933. He was the youngest of 3, predeceased by his sister, Anna. He is survived by his sister, Betty Polacek and her husband Marty. Steve was proud to be an American and Served his Country in the US Army with the 521st Military Police Company from 1956 to 1958. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who always put his family first. He retired as a Tool & Die Maker. He touched many people with his kind manner and always had a joke to tell. His sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh will surely be missed. Most days you could find him enjoying breakfast at the Rustic Mill with his favorite waitress, Paula. He enjoyed spending summer vacations on the beach in Lavallette with his family and friends. Steve is survived by the love of his life of 61 years, Rose Marie Senkarik (nee Dahl); his four children, Cindy Force (Russ Frame); Steve Senkarik, and his wife Lori; Scott Senkarik, and his wife Sheila; and Robyn Hoy, and her husband Joe, and his fourteen grandchildren: Brett and Paige Force, Heather Force-Rooney and her husband Jason; Steven and Kevin Senkarik; Austin, Hailey and Shelby Senkarik; Taylor, Joey, Andi, Ryan, Matt and Tommy Hoy. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at The Community Presbyterian Church, Deer Path at Meetinghouse Lane, in Mountainside, New Jersey. All are welcome.
