Steven Sharp Obituary

Steven A. Sharp, 82, born on May 29, 1943, and lovingly known as one of a kind, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Reading Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind a legacy woven with humor, love, and a remarkable knack for making life memorable.

As a proud United States Navy Veteran, Steve was a man who served his country with honor. The majority of his professional life and career was spent as the owner and operator of S&S Mushrooms. Steve's life was composed of laughter and love, most notably resonating from his devotion to his family.

Steve was equipped with a unique sense of humor that filled his family’s lives with joy. Steve always looked forward to summer, when he could vacation with his family in Ocean City, New Jersey, spending sunny days on the beach and making lasting memories together. He enjoyed gardening and puttering around outside. Often, you could find him watching the Philadelphia Phillies games, usually driving his wife, a little crazy—in the most endearing way possible. This year, they would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on April 11, an extraordinary milestone testament to their love.

Family was everything to Steven, who had big ideas and plans galore, especially when it came to his cherished grandchildren—Gabriel, Sofia, Julian, Natalie, Samuel, Jackson, and Maria. He enjoyed sharing his wisdom and advice on all things with his grandchildren and anyone else who would listen. Steven is survived by his beloved wife, Sylvia; children Andrea Curtis, wife of Christopher, Daniel Sharp, husband of Amy, and Stefanie Wagner, wife of Chris; and grandchildren who adored their PoPPoP.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, Harry A. and Elizabeth "Louise" L. (Rocktashel) Sharp, and his brother, Jeffrey Sharp.

A visitation to celebrate Steven's life will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Road in Temple, PA, from 10 AM to 12 PM.
