Steven Gerald Spinks

Steven G. Spinks, 72, passed on June 23, 2025 after a long illness. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he lived in the Akron area most of his life. Working as a heavy equipment mechanic and welder for Fallsway Equpment and later MH Equipment for over 34 years. He loved fabricating custom cars, trucks and motorcycles, also hunting and fishing with friends and family. Steve was surrounded by the love of his family in his passing.

Preceded in death by parents John and Jane, sister Taryn Sue, brother in law Bob, he is survived by wife of 32 years Joyce, children Matthew and Steve, grandchildren Steve and Dyl, brother Johnny, sister Debbie. He leaves many other special family and friends whose prayers where very appreciated.

Cremation has taken place and per his request there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
