It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven Suarez who left us peacefully on Tuesday September 30th, 2025 at the age of 46.
Born on July 2, 1979 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Steven lived a life filled with music, laughter, and devotion to his family. His passion for music was not only a source of joy for himself, but something he shared generously with those around him, especially his own son's music, leaving cherished memories that will live on in our hearts.
Above all, Steven treasured his family. He was a devoted father to his children, Elisa, Elijah, Steven, Amanda and Joe. As well as a proud grandfather to his two beloved grandchildren, Malaiyah and Delijah, who brought him endless pride and joy. His warmth, humor, and bold spirit made every family gathering brighter, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Steven is survived by his wife Luisa and children, Steven and Elijah; his grandchildren, Malaiyah and Delijah; his siblings, Michelle and Victor; his mother Irasema and many dear relatives and friends. His legacy will live on through the love he gave and the music he cherished.
Steven cared about his family more than anything. It was always family first no matter what, something he lived by to the fullest. We will miss his smile, his laugh, his humor, and the way he carried himself. He was one of a kind and if you really knew Steven, you know he would want us to not live in sorrow but instead, live with all the great memories that were created with each and every one of us because that is what really matters the most.
A celebration of Steven's life will be held on Monday 10/06/2025 at Ballard and Durand funeral home. Family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor a man who meant so much to all who knew him.
