Obituary of Steven Gary Sudduth
Steven Gary Sudduth, 68, of Niceville, FL left the world peacefully and with his family by his side on November 13th, 2024. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on June 24th, 1956 to Evelyn Graves.
Steven was a single father raising his 2 beautiful daughters, Jaime Rice & Jennifer Pritchard. He married the love of his life and best friend, Darci Sudduth, on March 11th, 1995. Steven and Darci had a daughter together, Jordan Sudduth, a year later. Steven was proud of all three of his daughters, and their accomplishments. If you got a chance to know Steven, you were lucky! He had the loudest laugh in the room, a smile that could move mountains, and a passion for life. His favorite pastimes included working on his 1976 Ford Bronco, bonding with all of his dogs throughout the years, and catching some sun rays at the beach. To know Steven was to love him. Steven retired as a Federal Manager working for the Department of Defense at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base located in Kings Bay, Georgia. Steven and Darci lived life to the fullest! Their favorite place they lived was Honolulu, Hawaii! You could catch those two dancing into the night, and most likely Steven had a Captain Morgan and Coke in hand! Steven fought a 9 year battle of COPD, Heart Disease, and Cancer. He was a fighter, a warrior, and a lover!
Steven is survived by his wife, Darci Sudduth, his 3 daughters: Jaime (Shawn) Rice, Jennifer Pritchard, and Jordan (Danny) Stewart. He has 5 grandchildren: Evelyn Pritchard, Ryan Rice, Jason Rice, Emilee Pritchard, and Cameron Rice. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Graves, and his sister, Dale Peiser. Steven was a husband, a father, and a best friend to everyone. Your soul is at peace. In the clouds we will meet again. Your name will forever live on.
"Luv always and 4 ever,"
Your family.
