Steven Wayne Vail, 37, of Columbus, passed away at 3:34 a.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023. He was born on August 20, 1985 in Greensburg, the son of Douglas Wayne and Judy Carolyn (Lucas) Vail. He was a former resident of Westport, Columbus and Bloomington. He enjoyed video games and spending time with his kids and family. Survivors include his father, Doug Vail of Greensburg; his 2 daughters, Charlie Vail and Mariah Vail both of Columbus; sisters, Lisa Griesehop and April Mobley both of Bloomington; his brother, Patrick Griesehop of Wabash; his niece, Justice Mobley and great niece, Aliza Mobley both of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Carolyn (Lucas) Vail. Services are pending at this time. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.

I'm saddened to learn of Steven's passing. I hadn't seen him in a very long time but I do have some really good memories with him. It's sad to see your gone but I hope you're in a better place now .

Don't know where to start have so many memories together he is my baby brother and I will never understand the fact of why my baby brother is gone but what I do know is he will never be forgotten we love u and miss u every day bub and u will forever live on
