Steven M. Villani, Jr., age 45, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Kent County Hospital in Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of Steven M. Villani and Gail M. Burr and the cherished dad to Noah and Evan Villani.
Steven was a longtime employee for Wal-Mart having worked in Arizona for a number of years before returning to Rhode Island to be closer to family. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed watching movies and playing video games. He was a people person and enjoyed talking to others and making friends wherever he went. Above all else, his favorite way to spend the time was with his boys and extended family.
In addition to his parents and children, Steven is survived by his siblings Joseph Villani and Rebecca Redstone; his maternal-grandmother Betty Burr and many loving nieces and nephews and cousins, especially his cousin Alan Anderson who was also his best friend. Steven was the nephew of Patty Anderson, William Burr, John Villani, Bobby Villani and the late Alex Villani, Joseph Villani, Jr., Danny Villani and Michael Villani. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather William H. Burr and paternal grandparents Joseph and Gloria Villani.
A Visitation will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 9-11am with a Funeral Ceremony at 11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Interment will immediately follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
