Steven James Warren, 71, of Niota, Tennessee, passed away on November 3, 2024. He was born in Muscatine, Iowa on November 29, 1952 to William and Evelyn Warren. He served his country in the Air Force. During his working career, he was a Security Coordinator at TVA Watts Bar, Chief of Police and Commissioner for Niota, Tennessee.
Steven had several hobbies and interests such as golfing, hunting, fishing, bull riding, horseback riding, motorcycle riding and sitting on his back porch enjoying the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his father, James William Warren.
Steven is survived by his two children, Stacy (wife, Amber) Warren, Stephanie (husband, Doug) Swafford; grandchildren, Blake Warren, Baleigh Warren, Emerson Schoessel, Lila Swafford, Waylon Swafford; mother, Evelyn Warren Harms; siblings, Andrea (husband, Steve) Pankey, Sandy (significant other, Nick Patrakis) Warren, Diana (husband, Joe) Arn, Cameron (wife, Ranae) Warren; several nieces and nephews; significant other, Cheryl Malone and special friends, Glenn and Jo Turney.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Eastanallee Baptist Church, 482 County Road 725, Riceville, TN 37370.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be sent to Stacy Warren at 404 Hilltop Drive, Niota, TN 37826.
