Steven G. Wiseman, 40, of Archbald, passed away Monday afternoon February 5, 2024 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton after a sudden illness.
Born February 21, 1983 in Morristown, New Jersey, he was the son of Carol (Matern) Wiseman of Jessup and Steven Wiseman of Lake Ariel, both of whom survive him.
Steven was a 2001 graduate of Western Wayne High School. He went on to study at Temple University where he earned a degree in business. Steven will be lovingly remembered for his kindness, generosity, and wit; he was funny and intelligent, and impacted the lives of everyone he met. Steven was an animal lover. He especially enjoyed horses and successfully took part in many horse shows. Steven was a loving son, brother, and friend; most of all he loved being "Uncle Steve" to his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Steven is also survived by his sister, Rebecca Miscavage and her husband Paul of Jessup; and his brother, Kasey Wiseman and his wife Melissa of Peckville; seven nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at The Waymart Church, 596 Honesdale Road, Waymart, PA 18472 with his brother, Kasey Wiseman officiating with Pastor Sal Maiorana.
The family will receive friends at a viewing on Friday morning in The Waymart Church from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.
