Steven Young, 56, of Gainesville, MO passed away on February 15, 2026.
Steve was born April 12, 1969 in St. Louis, MO. Steve proudly served in the US Navy and later worked for many years as a commercial water well driller. He was known for his strong work ethics, reliability, and dedication to providing for his family.
He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Joann, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage filled with adventure, laughter and unwavering love.
He is survived by his children; Megan Young Hall, Hannah Vaughn, Daytona Young, Jared Young and Willow Young, as well as many cherished grandchildren.
Steve enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing and spending time outdoors. He will be remembered as someone who was always ready to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, and be there whenever he was needed.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
